My restaurant

Imagine

For my restaurant, I decided to take a cafe-style restaurant and fuse it with my love for anime. How I'll will do this is by incorporating anime characters into certain positions at the restaurant. For example, Ryomen Sukuna could be the head chef whilst the host, Deku, is greeting the customers at the front door and Tanjiro is taking people's orders. However, there is 2 major problem I see with this restaurant. Firstly, the fact that the employees playing these characters would have to be able to stay in character, whilst also doing their actual job which may get a little difficult. And Secondly, the new customers who wouldn't understand why the employees are looking and acting weird. To solve both of these problems, I could offer new employees acting lessons to teach them how to play their character and, to solve the problem with new customers, have a sign in the front explaining that the employees are also actors and to take any weird comments with a grain of salt.

Now for the restaurant itself, I would like it to like a Japanese shrine with Cherry Blossom trees in the front. Inside, there could be a separate corner designated for a bar that would take up about 30-35% of the restaurant, meanwhile, the rest is reserved for dining. A small detail I would like to include are floor lights that are different colors depending of where you are in the restaurant. The kitchen will have red lights, the dining and front area will have blue lights and the bar while have purple lights because it will be close to both of them.

Storytime

A large red arch stood before me, the Torii Gate, as beautiful pink petals from the nearby cherry blossom trees blissfully rained down upon me, I made my way into the cafe. As soon as I enter through the gate, I felt as though I had entered a different, more holy or sacred world. As I approached the building, the air began to taste sweeter, wonderful scents and aromas filled the air as if trying to flaunt the sweets brewing in the restaurant in front of me. The bright yellow sun beaming right over the roof of the cafe. This placed seemed more like a temple or shrine of sunshine and happiness rather than a cafe. As I approached the front door, I noticed a sign warning that the employees were also actor and that their words were not to be taken too seriously because they aren’t allowed to break character. As I walked into the establishment, I immediately understood what the sign outside meant as the host for the cafe was a boy with dark green hair and eyes. When the boy spoke, he sounded rather nervous but also excited. The boy claimed his name was Izuku Midoriya and that my table would be ready in about 10 minutes. As I sat patiently on the comfy benches in the lobby, I saw that, seemingly, the whole inside of the building was lined with led lights. The lights in the lobby were a bright blue, the lights in the bar were purple and the lights near the kitchen were red. Whilst these lights were nice, most of the lighting came from outside via the windows on both the walls and a big one on the ceiling. As I was being sat down at my table, my waiter, who said his name was Tanjiro Kamado, asked me about my day and what I liked to eat (I decided on rice balls because they were apparently a good choice for first timers). After he left with my order, I began to notice details like how the tables were designed in a way that made them appear as though they were hand drawn. The music in this place was faint but extremely peaceful, playing softly in my eardrums. This music combined with the wonderful, sweet smells coming from the kitchen made me feel as though I was being massaged by my own senses. As my food arrived, I thanked Tanjiro and began to eat and the flavors immediately began their performance. The sweetness was amazing, however it wasn’t over bearing or super strong, it was perfectly cooked. Eating the rice ball reminded me of baking with my mother or eating some sweets made by my grandmother. Overall, being in and eating at this restaurant was very relaxing, and the interacting with the employees was extremely fun.
