So today, I decided to do a little bit of exercising because, according to adobe.com, a tired brain is less focused, which allows us to see things in different ways. So after my run, I went back inside my house and the first thing I thought about when I sat down was a DND-style game I made for my friend Matthew. He completed the stories first ark but now needs a new threat to keep him going. This "new threat" must also connect back to the first ark as well as Matthew himself. So, in my tired state, I created a character I named Viper. Viper's name is inspired by Metal Gear's "Solid Snake". However, Viper isn't a hero like Snake, he's an assassin, biologically engineered for killing. He's 762nd experiment done by a company named Rapture to see how far technology could push the limits of the human body. Viper maybe 6'2 and over 300 pounds but doesn't have a super muscular build. The secret to Viper's oddly slim appearance are his extremely dense muscles. With this he gains enhanced speed, strength, agility, and durability. On top of this, he has a extremely high pain tolerance, as well as heightened senses bordering pre-cognition, do to his genetics and the grueling training Rapture put him through. All-in-all, Viper sounds like the perfect threat for Matthew at his current level of strength.
Design
So today, I decided to write about the design of Ryomen Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. Sukuna is around 7 feet tall, has 4 arms, 2 mouths (a normal one and one on his stomach), and 4 eyes. Sukuna himself, though, isn't what I want to talk about, it's his technique and character. Sukuna's technique is called Shrine which in itself contain 3 other moves called dismantle, cleave and furnace. Dismantle is an invisible long rang slash whilst cleave is short range but adjust to the durability of the opponent to cut them down in one slash. Sukuna's philosophy is that the strong make all the decisions, whilst, the weak are worthless and have no rights. Through this mindset, trained and honed his skills until, eventually, he was so strong no one, in his time, could be him. We know this because everyone during his time teamed up to fight him and lost. This feat granted him the title of "The King of Curses". This name, along with his technique, are symbolic of how he cut his ties to his humanity and became more like a walking natural calamity or, in Lameman's terms, a curse.
My Business for this month
I decided to work with the fictional company called "Ingen" from in the Jurassic Park films. On the most basic level this company makes the dinosaurs for the Jurassic Park/World theme park. The park is on a island called Isla Nublar. The company's mission statement would be to show the modern world its prehistoric counterpart. To prevent recreating the events in the movie, our company will prioritize the safety of our guests by making sure our animals are healthy both physically and mentally. The would be competing with other theme parks, most notably Universal and Disney, because parks like these would have rides and animals like our park.
S (Strengths): Location; Animals; Very capable scientific staff; lots of external funds.
W (Weaknesses): Not really any attractions that are associated with a theme park; Cost for a guest due location; Location of the Park; Unknown dangerous animals.
O (Opportunities): Research the dinosaurs to better display them; Enlarge the human security team; Develop better transportation to and from the park, Add more attractions similar to ones in other theme parks.
T (Threats): Weather; Other large competition; Economic issues involving imports, Protester's of the park
Company Goals
1. Make a television ad for the park
2. Create a website for the company
3. Create and market merchandise
4. New attractions
5. Expand the park
6. Create another park
7. Create an online community
8. Decrease cost to and in the park
9. Collab with another business
